Serve as a subject matter expert on federal, state, and local employment law compliance
Maintain and manage the HR compliance audit calendar, proactively identifying risk and audit readiness gaps
Draft, revise, and maintain employment policies and teammate handbooks in alignment with current legislation
Develop and implement policy communication and training strategies to promote adoption and understanding
Oversee all aspects of benefits administration in collaboration with brokers and vendors
Lead benefits lifecycle mapping, ensuring teammates have a consistent, well-communicated experience from hire through exit
Manage leave of absence and reasonable accommodation processes, ensuring compliance with FMLA, ADA, and applicable regulations
Coordinate and oversee workers’ compensation claims, reporting, and return-to-work processes
Own and manage the ServiceNow HR ticketing system, ensuring timely assignment, resolution, and tracking of HR requests
Analyze ticket trends and service metrics to drive continuous improvement and teammate satisfaction
Oversee the tier-1 employee support team, providing guidance, escalation support, and process clarity
Maintain the employee e-filing and document management system in alignment with audit and survey standards
Manage background check vendor relationship and ensure accuracy in pre-employment compliance
Serve as the HR operating rhythm owner, managing the cadence of audits, policy reviews, benefit renewals, and key HR processes throughout the year
Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Payroll, and IT to ensure seamless integration of HR policies and systems
Partner with the broader HR team to align operations with broader people strategy and teammate experience goals
Lead or support enterprise-wide HR projects and process enhancement initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned
Lead and develop a team of HR administrative specialists
Provide consistent coaching, feedback, and development opportunities
Ensure team readiness, training, and documentation coverage for business continuity
Promote a collaborative, people-first culture aligned with ASHN’s core beliefs and teammate experience expectations
10+ years of HR operations or compliance experience, including direct oversight of benefits, LOA, and WC programs
Familiarity with HR systems (Workday), ticketing platforms (ServiceNow), and audit/compliance frameworks
Strong analytical, communication, and process improvement skills
Demonstrated ability to manage and develop HR team members while influencing cross-functional collaboration
High level of discretion when managing teammate data and confidential information
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered
