      Purpose of Job: Responsible for a full range of human resource functions, employee benefits management, and support to the HR Team. Manages the recruitment management system, benefits new hire and qualifying life event process, HRIS Benefits Dashboard, employee relations, and employee engagement.

      RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

      Recruitment

      • Manages the recruiting management system (RMS) including job creation and system management.
      • Handles password resets and sets up new user accounts.
      • Conducts system maintenance to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
      • Develops user-friendly job aids for system users and trains new users as needed.
      • Serves as the primary point of contact for RMS users related to the system.
      • Assists HR Manager with recruitment needs as necessary.
      • Generates necessary reports when required.

      Onboarding

      • Provides clear explanations of available benefits to new hires.
      • Assists with pending tasks in the Workday system.
      • Ensures new hires gain access to essential resources.

      Employee Relations

      • Manages tier 1 HR/Benefits related inquiries from applicants and employees on a daily basis.
      • Serves as the initial point of contact for inquiries related to Benefits, HR, and RMS.
      • Escalates complex or sensitive matters to the relevant personnel when necessary.
      • Provides clarification of HR policies and procedures.
      • Manages the unemployment claims website to ensure all claims for the organization have been submitted and complete claims when necessary.

      Benefits Administration

      • Manages the enrollment process in Workday for employee benefits to include new hires, rehires, HCM changes, and qualifying life events and gathers necessary documents for dependent eligibility.
      • Provides support to employees by addressing inquiries related to benefits.
      • Educates employees about benefit offerings and associated procedures by creating and using videos, guides, flyers, presentations, and articles.
      • Assists with Open Enrollment processes and wellness programs.
      • Serves as the Wellness Champion for Corporate.
      • Completes National Medical Support Notices to include filing and enrollment.
      • Provides basic end-user support for HR related apps, software, or web-based services to include resetting passwords, basic navigation instruction, and assistance.
      • Conducts benefits eligibility and wellness reporting and sends reminders to employees regarding deadlines through email.

      General HR Support

      • Manages benefits invoice payments.
      • Maintains company bulletin boards for all facilities and ensures adherence to compliance standards.
      • Participates in planning and promoting employee engagement, appreciation, and recognition initiatives as a member of the Corporate Planning Committee.
      • Contributes to a range of HR projects to include recruiting, updating the Employee Handbook, policy revisions, HR system implementation.
      • Oversees the Gym Reimbursement program.
      • Manages expenses for department purchases.
      • Completes child support verifications.
      • Assists with the Quarterly HR Staff Meeting agenda and coordinates related activities.
