      Summary

      The Staff Recruiter works with hiring managers to source, assess and hire qualified staff to positively impact the patient experience. Responsible for all staff and leadership recruitment within assigned departments.

      Position Reports To: HR Manager


      Essential Functions

      1. Responsible for initial introduction to Confluence Health with accurate organization and department information to create a positive first impression.
        • Reviews applications, conducts assessment interviews and evaluates each candidate in accordance with the prescribed criteria. Advises hiring managers concerning the merits of each referred candidate.
        • Coordinates interviews with hiring managers and associated travel arrangements.
        • Maintains accurate and timely documentation of candidate progress in the application tracking system.
      2. Builds strong relationships with managers to facilitate the hiring of staff by:
        • Tracking all current and potential vacancies, clarifying position requirements, verifying job descriptions and other candidate informational materials.
        • Conferring with hiring managers to gain an understanding of the primary skills, knowledge, certifications, licensure, and abilities/competencies required for the open position.
        • Routinely conducting departmental genbas.
      3. Responsible for marketing and sourcing positions, including:
        • Evaluating the market availability of qualified candidates and developing recruitment strategies and systems to generate a sufficient and timely supply of candidates.
        • Preparing advertisements and other promotional materials as needed.
        • Developing effective recruiting contacts with training programs, schools, and specialty associations.
        • Working knowledge in recruitment strategies through various social media outlets and internet advertising.
      4. Finalizes the recruitment process by:
        • Arranging employment details: offer letter, relocation reimbursement, sign on bonuses, etc. per policy and procedures.
        • Communicating job offers to selected candidates.
        • Initiating background checks on applicants.
        • Coordinating the interdepartmental transfer process for staff.
      5. Prepares and distributes established routine reports.
      6. Other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications

      Required:

      • Associate’s Degree in business or related field. Extensive experience directly related to the primary job functions may be substituted for the degree.
      • Strong communication skills with all levels of the organization and comfortable presenting in front of groups.


      Desired:

      • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Communications, Marketing or related field.
      • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP
      • Experience with HR software, sourcing and applicant tracking systems
      • Healthcare recruiting experience
      • Experience working in a union environment preferred
      • Experience in Human Resources, Recruiting and/or Marketing.
