Job Purpose
This role provides HR support and day-to-day operations to the HR Manager and Sr. HR Rep in the areas of HRIS, compensation, benefits, staffing, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and administrative duties.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities
Coordinates the onboarding process, initiates background checks, new hire packages/pre-employment documents, processes reference checks, and conducts new hire orientation
Compile and maintain employee records by filing, scanning and archiving following state and federal guidelines
Process different types of HRIS change of status forms
Manage job posting process and routes hiring requisitions for approval
Works with agency partners to facilitate staffing
Creates and prepare various excel reports using pivoting and V lookup using HRIS based on headcount, recruitment, attrition, and other metrics
Responsible for all administrative processes including collecting data, forms/paperwork, filing, and systems
Provide general administrative support to the HR Team
Prepares Workers Comp claims, tracks injuries/illness for OSHA reporting.
Works with HR management to support employee relations in documenting and conducting internal investigations.
Assist with administrative and clerical duties
Miscellaneous projects and assignments
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize many tasks and complete them with accuracy and efficiency
Ability to handle tasks with a sense of urgency and confidentiality
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant interruptions
Can-do mentality and readiness to go above and beyond to provide exceptional service to managers/employees
Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
Proficiency with HRIS, ATS, and database systems
Strong initiative is required to be successful in this role
Respects employee confidentiality and handles sensitive matters with tact and discretion.
Working knowledge of HR law
Ability to work independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills; analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment fostering effective collaborative communication
AA degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
2- 4 years of HR experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset

Salary Range(annual): $60,000 - $73,000. Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
