- Client Service. Provide consultative support to all Obsidian HR clients as needed by demonstrating subject matter expertise in supporting client inquiries on HR administration. Manage a team inbox through Salesforce que, responding to inquiries or re-assigning tasks as needed. Assist with client communications, as needed. Partner with internal resources, OHR Team, and HRCs. Demonstrates empathy to help identify underlying needs, and present win-win solutions.
- HR Administration. Provide HR administrative support to newly implemented clients including auditing of current practices including FLSA, Form I-9, minimum wage requirements, EEO categories, workplace posters and handout services; maintaining open communication with clients and other staff; assist clients with LOA process; assist assigned HRC with employee handbooks as needed to include document review, edits, policy creation, finalization of handbooks and ensure proper upload into OHR Connect; assisting the HR Service Team with daily functions, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage Special Projects. As laws change, assist with determining which clients are impacted and ensuring communication is provided on next steps to remain in compliance. Conduct semi-annual minimum wage audits to ensure worksite employees meet minimum wage requirements in their jurisdiction. Ongoing audit of paid time off set-up in OHR Connect in comparison to handbooks. Other projects as needed.
- Be composed and confident in dealing with stressful or high pressured situations.
- Be comfortable working within multiple teams while providing ongoing support to the team members. Be able to immediately respond to critical, time sensitive deadlines.
- Have strong Interpersonal skills verbal and written.
- Possess strong attention to detail.
- Be comfortable and effective with using technology for daily responsibilities.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years experience in customer service experience in fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree from an accredited community college or university.
- 1 Year of HR experience
- General understanding of HR laws and regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Applications
Mission
The Human Resource Associate will serve as a key member within a dedicated HR Services team that is empowered to deliver expert local service to the team's assigned client partners. This role is directly responsible for administrative support of the HR Service Team.
