The HR Support & Leave Administrator serves as the subject matter expert on all things leave-related including workers' compensation, while assisting the HR Team in various HR tasks. We are very hands-on with the employees we serve and feel that simply checking the box and sending the email is not enough. You will serve as the primary point of contact for employees, vendors, and business partners in connection with the execution and administration of leave policies and programs. This role will serve a vast population on daily matters from benefits, leave, pay, PTO, and much more. HR tasks may include hourly onboarding, audits, and more. You will work we a supportive and collaborative small team that has an employee-focused structure in all we do.

      What you will do

      · Assist in coordinating and administering all employee leave programs; including, but not limited to, FMLA, parental leave, medical or disability leave, ADA leaves and workplace accommodations, military, worker's compensation, etc. in compliance with Federal, State, and Company policy.

      · The team serves as the primary point of contact for leave requests communicating directly with employees, third-party vendors, managers, HR Business Partners, and Leadership Success Coaches.

      · Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding leaves of absence including leave policies, coordination of paperwork, tracking, and change updates. Educates employees regarding benefits, pay, the return to work process, the interactive process, and more. This role is a “concierge” for those with leave needs.

      · Establishes a strong customer service reputation for the leave management team with a focus on cultivating a process that yields a positive experience for impacted employees and their managers with a people-first focus.

      · Partners closely with all HR Administration, Payroll, HR Business Partners, and managers, where applicable, on all leaves, ADA, and workers' compensation claims. Meets regularly with HR Business Partners to review claims’ status, develop strategies for resolution, and return to work.

      · Maintain strong relationships with vendor partners and internal stakeholders to ensure processes are functionally integrated. Maintain all leave policies related to Total Rewards and facilitate updates as needed.

      · Partners with HR Administration to ensure HR system of record requirements are updated following all leave policies and documentation is maintained and current for associated employee leaves.

      · Maintains the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of sensitive Company and employee data.

      · Perform various HR tasks such as hourly onboarding and the I9 document accuracy. You will serve as the first contact for our newly hired employees, allowing them to have a great experience that will set the groundwork for continued success in our practices.

      · Perform other duties as assigned.

      What we are looking for

      · Associate degree required, bachelor's degree is a plus

      · 3-5+ years of experience in leave administration and process management in a high-volume, multi-state organization.

      · Possesses solid working knowledge of relevant subject matter including vast knowledge of LOA practices and laws in multiple states.

      · Demonstrates proficient understanding of HR programs, policies, and benefit plans to resolve issues or concerns quickly.

      · Ability to build collaborative relationships at all levels and outside the organization. This includes management, VPs, vendors, and outside counsel.

      · Employee benefit knowledge is a plus.

      · Multistate workers’ compensation knowledge a plus

      Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

      · This position is primarily performed from the employee’s home. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a laptop, provided by the company.

      · Company travel may be required for company or team events. Travels is expected to be less than 10%.

      · Must have visual acuity adequate to read correspondence, work from computer screen(s), forms; manual dexterity to operate keyboard; speaking and hearing ability enough to communicate by phone or in person.

      · Position is Monday-Friday 8a-5p, however, may be required to varying hours, days, and work schedules depending upon overall needs of the organization.
