Overview The Solutions Architect acts as a trusted expert in providing technology direction, enabling decision making, and implementation of technology solutions under the HR or People function. This individual contributor role will serve as the solution architect as part of the Corporate Applications and Products team and should have a solid understanding of leading practices and solutioning in the areas HCM -Compensation Management, Employee Central, and Total Rewards within SAP SuccessFactors. Alongside, experienced in how it integrates into the enterprise ecosystem connecting to upstream and downstream systems. Responsibilities WHAT YOU WILL DO Serves as the HR Functional Lead on projects and enhancements and collaborates with the People team and the domain experts. Translate business needs into functional and technical designs and eventual solutions. Lead the design, development and eventual operations of the system-to-system interfaces, dataflows, APIs, and integration middleware for the overall HCM platform. Lead developers in requirements gathering, integration design, build, unit test, testing support, future-state support team. Guide program, effectively demonstrating HAVI’s standards, processes, and governance. Partner with fellow Corporate Technology colleagues and third-party systems integrators to define and deploy global solutions. Partner with architects to implement the integration architecture of the future. Lead the transition and provide guidance to development teams. Triages technology proposals against existing standards and best practices and leads subsequent solution and variance activities. Analyzes new solution requests, solicits, and clarifies non-functional requirements, and formulates conceptual and physical architectures, to rapidly deliver solutions in a fast paced, multi-vendor, cloud-first environment. Helping teams to develop the product on time, on budget and ensuring that it solves the problem it was designed to solve. Desired Skills & Experience ABOUT YOU 10+ years of experience working in Information Technology. Bachelor’s Degree in informational technology, computer science, software engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience working with SAP SuccessFactors developing data integrations and assisting with functional modifications. 5+ years of leading the development of interfaces and integration between business applications. 5+ years’ experience in IT Product & Application architecture or development roles. Experience with Configuration Management, Agile, Lean IT, DevOps practices. Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
