      Internship Opportunity:
Chewy is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic FC Human Resources Intern to join our team in Reno, NV, Jessup, PA, Wilkes-Barre, PA, Belton, MO and Ocala, FL. This opportunity offers hands-on experience in a dynamic HR environment, bridging administrative HR tasks and employee engagement initiatives. In this role, you will gain valuable hands-on experience learning core HR processes, employee relations, and talent development practices.

This is not your typical office HR role—it’s a highly interactive and energetic position that thrives in the heart of our FC operations. You’ll spend time on the floor, engaging with Team Members, fostering a positive culture, and contributing directly to the success of our network. At Chewy, our HR professionals are go-getters who lead by example, take initiative, and inspire those around them with their presence and hands-on involvement. If you’re looking for an HR experience that’s as dynamic as it is rewarding, this internship is for you!

Intern Timeframe: June 2, 2025 – August 8, 2025 (must be available for the full duration)

Qualified Students: Rising Seniors graduating Spring 2026

      The Experience:
Our undergraduate FC Human Resources Internship is a hands-on 10-week opportunity to apply your classroom knowledge, passion for human resources, and drive for employee engagement in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Over the course of the program, you will immerse yourself in the core functions of HR—from onboarding and employee relations to talent development and HR data management—while actively participating in the daily operations of our Fulfillment Center.

      What You’ll Do:

      • Assist with coordinating new hire onboarding activities, including documentation, preparation of materials, and orientation sessions
      • Support new hire orientation programs by delivering presentations on company policies, benefits, and procedures
      • Manage and update employee records in the HRIS system and assist with payroll-related activities
      • Support the planning and execution of employee recognition programs, events, and engagement initiatives
      • Shadow HR leadership in employee relations tasks, such as performance management discussions and investigations
      • Help analyze HR data to spot trends in engagement, retention, and performance
      • Partner with leadership to brainstorm and implement creative ways to enhance employee experiences

      What You’ll Need:

      • Enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s degree program, in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2026
      • Strong organizational and communication skills, with an eye for detail
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
      • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
      • A desire to grow and learn in a fast-paced environment, with a strong interest in HR as a career
