      We are currently looking for a HSE Administrator for a 3 month engagement to assist our Health Safety & Environment (HSE). This role will be supporting our Blackwater project from our Vancouver office.

      Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

      • Coordinate administrative support across a range of HSE activities
      • File HSE information appropriately, in line with procedures
      • Assist with the development and execution of HSE improvement projects as required
      • Produce documents, reports, correspondence, presentations, and spreadsheet in a timely and accurate manner
      • Assist with administration and onboarding of workers and contractors to site confirming minimum site requirements are verified prior to inductions
      • Manage medicals administration including medical bookings, filing and maintaining records, reporting and raising purchase orders
      • Manage varied and conflicting demands to meet agreed team priorities and timeframes
      • Support in taking minutes where required
      • General administration support for the group as required, including relief cover of other administration roles across the company
      • Provide ongoing support to HSE continuous improvement activities
      • Other accountabilities as directed
      • HSE Reporting and Systems :
        • Review for completeness and enter HSE data, assist with data extraction and analysis to support reporting on trends for injury and incidents
        • Research safety topics and/or training opportunities as instructed to do so by the HSE Manager
        • Prepare routine HSE reports in accordance with the project reporting schedule and ad hoc reports as required
        • Assist the HSE team with project audits
        • Participate in the development and continuous improvement of the quality management process and system and ensure that project and Company quality standards are implemented on the project

      What we are looking for:

      • Project administration experience, ideally within HSE functions
      • Experience with HSE documentation including induction bookings, risk assessments, site registers, investigation reports, communication, corrective actions.
      • High attention to detail and strong interpersonal and communication skills
      • Intermediate to Advanced MS office skills (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
      • High level of written and verbal communication skills
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

      Desired skills, knowledge and experience:

      • Enablon Synergy system experience
      • Experience in construction/resources industry


      Salary range in BC: $70,000 - 85,000/annum

      The salary offered to the successful person for this position will consider education, experience, relevant skills and capability, geographic location and market conditions at the time of hire.
