UGL Defence recently commenced the Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance contract for the Defence Fuels Network. We are recruiting a HSE Advisor to join our business in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation. The Role The HSE Advisor, reporting into the HSSE Manager, will be based in Perth UGL, supporting sites and locations in Perth’s surrounding regions and regional WA. The HSE Advisor is responsible for, but not limited to: - Providing advice and coaching to Operational and Maintenance site teams on site specific HSSE reporting & Analysis for client and management needs. - Monitor workplace behaviours and compliance, actively implement, review and improve the HSSE management system - Liaise with Commonwealth HSE organisations and systems to support O&M teams to undertake their work in a safe and compliant manner. - Integrate client and UGL HSSE systems as required. - Undertake incident investigations and support the implementation of corrective actions - Adopt UGL Core Values and support the management of UGL One HSE Culture On Your First Day we expect you to bring to the team: The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered. - Tertiary qualifications in WHS related discipline, Cert IV Training & Assessment - Incident Investigation Trained (ICAM preferable), Internal WHS Auditor highly regarded - Proven experience in HSE role in Oil & Gas industry or similar high-risk environment - In depth knowledge of the WH&S, Environment, Workers Compensation legislation and ISO45001, ISO9001/14001, ISO31000 - Demonstrated capability to develop and implement safety management systems - Willingness and ability to travel to DFN MCC program sites - Current holder, or ability to obtain a Security clearance UGL – Big projects.
