      As the Systems and Software (SYSS) HSSE Administrator, you will be supporting business unit and corporate safety, security and environmental policies and procedures, handling security technology systems, designing and deploying site security systems for new site deployments/relocations, developing process improvements to the front desk/security processes, and first point of contact within the EHS team on security matters. This role requires the ability to handle difficult situations, think strategically across the North American organization and ability to understand complexities of a matrixed organization. As a key point of contact, you will build and maintain strong relationships with employees, local vendors and Corporate security team. This role reports to the global director of EHS for Systems and Software.

      In this Role, your Responsibilities Will Be:

      • Align with the Business Unit Strategy and key corporate strategies
      • Support Round Rock site Safety programs and initiatives
      • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and organizational safety requirements
      • Conduct Safety and Security investigations
      • Provide safety and security training to SYSS personnel
      • Serve as a key contact with Emerson Global Security
      • Serve as the key contact for security technology needs at SYSS sites, with Emerson Global security, local site leads and integrators
      • Develop and implement security strategy for handling day-to-day security operations for Round Rock site
      • Liaison with contract security service provider and contract security team
      • Coordinate TIR process for SYSS group with Emerson Global Security
      • Coordinate with facilities and management team to provide security plans for site special events
      • Provide early warning on local issues that may affect the security of the business
      • Coordinate communications on events that affect security and safety via email, Send Word Now or by other means
      • Serve as a point of contact for local emergency responders
      • Local management of the Crisis Management plan and updates
      • Establish and maintain local security contact network

      For this Role, You Will Need:

      • Bachelor's degree
      • Minimum of five years of safety, security, or law enforcement experience
      • Minimum of two years developing emergency action programs
      • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

      Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

      • Outstanding project management skills strongly preferred
      • Deep professional understanding of crisis management, risk analysis, and experience leading others is strongly preferred
      • Experience with S2 security software is preferred
      • Advanced or equivalent degree is a plus
