IRC222179 – HULL & LQ ENGINEER At Eni, we are looking for a Hull & LQ Engineer supporting at Eni Congo in Shanghai, China.. You will be responsible for providing specialist engineering input into the Hull & LQ detailed engineering design of FLNG floating unit. Ensuring that contractor’s designs and specifications meet project objectives, engineering requirements and industry best practice. As a member of the engineering team at Eni Congo you will be responsible for: - Overall technical integrity of FLNG’s Hull & LQ design. - Ensuring delivery of as built and vendor documentation. - Assuring compliance of Hull and LQ design and construction, to agreed contract requirements, including project specifications and standards. - Providing specific requested and agreed technical input to the other disciplines to facilitate a smooth development of the engineering activities. - P roviding support to the team throughout project duration, from engineering until completion of as-built documentation concerning all matters related to the FLNG’s Hull and LQ. - Providing comments and prepare responses to Contractor’s deliverables, technical queries and other technical correspondence. - Reporting regularly and attend engineering meetings. - Supporting implementation of latest, agreed project developments. - Reporting to Responsible Hull & LQ Engineering on status, opportunities, exposures and performance for alignment and decision making. This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements: - Naval Architect or Civil/Structural Engineer or equivalent - Fluent Knowledge of English - Intermediate knowledge of the local language (if required) - Offshore Oil & Gas Industries experience - Floating Naval / LQ Engineering experience - Professional Role general knowledge: Structural design, Naval design, Material and Corrosion design, Marine system design, Mechanical, Machinery and piping Engineering, HVAC Engineering - Knowledge from other Professional Area: HSE Principle and Systems, Construction Works and constructability, Conventional Installation Transportation, Logistic Location: Shanghai, China.
