- Attend monthly Human Research Ethics Committee meetings via Zoom
- Discuss ethical merits and compliance of applications with fellow committee members
- Maintain confidentiality regarding HREC discussions and disclose any conflicts of interest
- Familiarize yourself with the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Interest in human research and research ethics
- Access to a computer, internet, and Zoom meeting software
- Capacity to understand ethical issues related to the National Statement
- Ability to express considered views while respecting the opinions of others
- Willingness to read and review research proposals prior to meetings

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience or background in research ethics or human research
- Familiarity with the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research
- Previous involvement with research committees or ethics boards
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
