Train and work hands-on with HVAC systems and controls.
Participate in certified STA training to build your technical skillset.
Troubleshoot and solve real customer challenges with guidance from mentors.
Communicate progress and solutions with customers and contractors.
Attend required union training in your first year.
Recommend efficiency upgrades and provide quotes for solutions.
Willingness to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices (UA).
1+ years of experience or strong interest in mechanical systems and HVAC.
Basic understanding of HVAC systems, facilities management, and servicing techniques.
Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
Leadership potential and a self-starter mindset.
Commitment to safety and a valid driver’s license.
1–2 years of trade school or college with a technical focus (mechanical engineering, HVAC, building systems, etc.).

*This is a Bargaining Unit Position.
Pay Range: $24.31- $28.36Hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
This is a Bargaining Unit Position but is subject to all pre-hiring screening of JCI. With successful performance, JCI may recommend you to the Union Local apprenticeship program, as well as continued employment at JCI. Acceptance by Union Local must occur within 365 days of employment or will result in termination of this position. This is not a guaranty of employment or entering the Union. The Union has its own entry, qualification & screening programs.
