  HVAC INSTALL APPRENTICE

Join Goettl as an HVAC Apprentice, where you’ll work alongside seasoned technicians, master the trade through hands-on experience, and provide exceptional service to our customers.   Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist lead HVAC technicians on all job sites with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Establish positive rapport with customers to ensure high satisfaction and potential referrals.
  • Represent yourself professionally and knowledgeably to build customer trust and repeat business.
  • Support the lead technician in job setup, following a quality checklist to ensure each job is staged correctly.
  • Maintain an organized job site and keep an accurate inventory of equipment and tools.
  • Participate actively in on-the-job training and formal exercises to develop HVAC skills.
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and on time.

  Requirements

  Here's what you need:

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening (including Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines, Opiates, Propoxyphene, PCP, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Methadone). Medical marijuana card does not qualify for exclusion.
  • STEADY AND PROGRESSIVE WORK HISTORY-- No job hoppers!
  • Must have an EPA Certification (Level II or Universal) or be able to obtain within 60 days.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must be over 21 years of age.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Ability to lift more than 50 lbs., and physically able to bend, stoop, stand, and crawl for prolonged periods, as well as work in varying temperatures and small spaces.
  • Must provide a basic set of personal tools.
  • Flexible availability to work different days and hours, including some nights and weekends.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a commitment to professional growth and high integrity.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a strong ability to follow through on tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and make sound decisions.
  • Desire to learn and improve skills daily in a goal-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Aptitude for problem-solving and time management.
  • Must have flexibility to work schedule (days and hours including some nights & weekends)
