      Job Title: HVAC Installation Technician

      Location: Poulsbo, WA

      Summary:

      Are you a skilled and motivated HVAC professional with a passion for ensuring homes are comfortable and energy-efficient? We're partnering with a leading HVAC company in Poulsbo, WA, that's dedicated to providing top-quality installation services and exceeding customer expectations.

      In this role, you'll be responsible for the complete and satisfactory installation of residential HVAC equipment and accessories. You'll also play a key role in overseeing and mentoring Install Apprentice Technicians to ensure work is performed correctly.       Responsibilities:
      • Install heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment, as well as accessories, in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications.
      • Design, fabricate, and install various ducts and duct fittings as necessary.
      • Perform limited diagnostics, as necessary.
      • Maintain a clean work area and safeguard client floors by laying drop cloths while performing installations.
      • Wear floor savers while working in client homes.
      • Inspect the area for cleanliness after job completion.
      • Complete installation forms, which reflect tasks performed for reporting accuracy.
      • Effectively communicate with customers regarding questions, concerns, and problems.
      • Perform start-ups on heating, cooling systems, and other components.
      • Responsible for the delivery and removal of equipment needed to complete installation work.
      • Confirm the company vehicle is safe in working order.
      • Ensure company property, vehicles, and tools are being properly used, maintained, and accounted for.
      • Maintain safe working conditions of the installation crew.
      • Ensure the company vehicle is properly stocked, returns defective warranty parts, and orders/replenishes vehicle stock.
      • Train apprentices in various installation techniques and procedures.
      • Program all programmable thermostats.
      • Install, wire, and plumb all IAQ products.
      • Install ductwork transitions in sheet metal and duct board.
      • Install gas lines, flue pipes, and wiring for high- and low-voltage wiring applications.
      • Always maintain a professional image by:
        • Wearing company-approved apparel.
        • Following safety policies and procedures.
        • Abiding by all company standards of performance and code of ethics.
        • Maintaining a courteous demeanor with all customers and associates.
        • Maintaining company vehicles, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
        • Respecting the customer's property.
      • Participate in ALL company-sponsored training classes.

      Qualifications:
      • Minimum of three years of verifiable installation work history.
      • Knowledge of the fundamentals of operational functionality of residential heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment.
      • Knowledge of the layout and installation requirements of residential ductwork and fittings.
      • Skilled in reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting problems with electrical, refrigerant, and duct systems on residential HVAC equipment.
      • Solid communication and customer service skills.
      • Must have appropriate trade tools.
      • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
      • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
