Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Service Technician with experience in servicing RTU's. The role involves inspecting and testing HVAC systems and components, identifying maintenance risks, and addressing potential issues. The technician will also be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. Additionally, the role includes identifying, analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing malfunctioning equipment and systems, performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently, and ensuring compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Service RTU's
• Inspect and test HVAC systems and components
• Identify maintenance risks and address potential issues
• Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning equipment and systems
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience in HVAC service
• Proficiency in HVAC installation and construction

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Welding skills, particularly MIG welding, are a plus

Work Environment

The role involves working within an approximately 1-hour radius. The standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with some weekends required. The average workweek is 45-50 hours over the course of a year, with occasional Saturdays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Canton, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
