Position: HVAC Service Technician

Work Hours: 40 hours/week + on call and overtime as needed

On-Call: Weekend rotation every FIVE weeks & ONE evening per week

What you will be doing:

• Residential service, maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of heating and air conditioning systems
• Provide feedback to Service Manager regarding technical training needs, inventory and retail pricing
• Work in the utility programs the company participates
• Retrofit installations as needed
• Providing excellent customer service
• Consult with customer on repairs, replacements, and give solutions that are beneficial for customer as well as company

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years' experience preferred
• EPA Certification
• Strong mechanical background
• HVAC education preferred
• Clean driving record and insurable driving record
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
• Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
• Experience making repair and replace decisions
• Advanced customer service skills
• Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles
• Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices
• Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
• Nate Certification a plus

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
