  Hiring HVAC Technician

  Service and Maintenance

  Job Description

  This role involves looking after the service and maintenance of modular offices, lavatories, and dormitories. The service provided will include HVAC or plumbing, depending on your experience.

  Responsibilities

  • Inspect modular units and perform necessary service and maintenance.
  • Test heating and air conditioning systems, conducting pressure and leak tests.
  • Clean furnaces and add new regulators into the units as required.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks such as drywall replacement, repair, and general carpentry.
  • Assist with plumbing tasks as needed.
  • Troubleshoot common issues such as replacing regulators and filter replacements.

  Essential Skills

  • Minimum Journeyman HVAC Tech certification.
  • At least 6 months of residential or commercial service experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Experience in servicing furnaces and performing basic service inspections on AC units.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in modular or residential environments.
  • WHMIS certification.
  • Fall Protection certification.
  • First Aid certification.

  Work Environment

  The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with up to 10 hours of overtime per week. The role is primarily based in the shop (90% of the time) with occasional outdoor tasks. The work environment is very team-focused and safety-oriented.

  Job Type & Location

  This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edmonton, Alberta.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00/hr.
