Job Title: HVAC Technician

Job Description

As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing all types of HVAC systems, including refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating. Your role is crucial in ensuring that HVAC systems operate at optimal performance levels while providing exceptional customer service to clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including filter replacement, system testing, and cleaning.
• Troubleshoot and repair all types of HVAC systems, including refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical problems associated with HVAC equipment.
• Keep accurate and timely records of all maintenance and repairs completed.
• Communicate effectively with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
• Offer recommendations for system upgrades or replacements to clients when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry standards and technologies.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC service.
• Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles associated with HVAC equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• EPA certification preferred.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rockville, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
