  HVAC Service Technician

  Location: Vancouver, BC

  Job Type: Full-Time

  Wage Range: $40.00–$55.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

  About the Role

  We are looking for a highly skilled and motivatedHVAC Service Technicianto join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings and schematics, and for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and execute blueprints, schematics, and building codes to determine work procedures.
  • Assemble, install, and service HVAC and refrigeration systems and components.
  • Assist in the design and layout of multi-head VRF systems.
  • Generate detailed material lists from site layouts and technical drawings.
  • Start up and commission systems, test lines for leaks, and record performance data.
  • Supervise and guide apprentices in the installation of piping systems.
  • Maintain accurate records and produce detailed service reports.
  • Diagnose and repair system malfunctions, including electrical and control components.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, industry standards, and company policies.

  Required Qualifications

  • Minimum3 years of HVAC service experiencein commercial, institutional, or high-rise environments.
  • Journeyperson Red Seal Certification.
  • ValidClass 5 Driver’s Licensewith a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Gasfitter B Ticket.
  • Additional years of hands-on HVAC experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and team mentorship.
  • A strong sense of pride in workmanship and reliability.

  Work Environment

  You’ll work in existing commercial buildings and infrastructure, often around business tenants—so professionalism and presentation are key. Shifts typically begin at7:00 or 7:30 AM, with standard8-hour daysand occasional after-hours work. We foster awork-hard, play-hardculture where your contributions are valued and rewarded.
