      Hours:
      M-F 7am - 4pm

      Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances:
      Semi-Conductor manufacturing facility

      Team Overview:
      • working with maintenance technician
      • May have some client interaction
      • Working mainly with Facilities maintenance team

      Resource's typical working day:
      Repair broken equipment
      HVAC repair work

      Licenses/Certifications:
      EPA 608 and/or OSHA 10 required

      Must Have Skills:
      • Knowledge of refrigerants
      • Knowledge of various cooling systems
      • Good understanding of Safety regulations

      Nice to have skills:
      • More advanced computer proficiency
      • Good understanding of CMMS system
      • Good report writing skills
      • Excellent communication skills
      • Good customer service skills

      Years of Experience:
      1-2 years

      Education
      Trade school

      Software skills:
      Computer skills
      CMMS knowledge

      Interview Process:
      1 round virtual (Teams)
      2nd round in person if needed


      About the Role:
      • As a HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems at facilities by conducting proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance.
      • This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

      What You'll Do:
      • Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building. This includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
      • Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
      • Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course of action for equipment modifications.
      • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
      • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
      • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

      What You'll Need:
      • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required.
      • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
      • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
      • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
      • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
      • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
