- Review warranty claims related to HVAC Systems and determined the appropriate course of action based on warranty coverage and company policies.
- Communicate with customers, contractors, and vendors to gather necessary information and documentation for warranty claims.
- Evaluate warranty claims by conducting thorough inspections, tests, and assessments of the water heater systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with HVAC systems, including but not limited to heating elements, thermostats, valves, and electrical connections.
- Coordinate and schedule repair or replacement services with authorized service providers or contractors.
- Ensure accurate documentation of warranty claims, including detailed notes, photographs, and relevant supporting documents.
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers and service providers regarding warranty coverage, installation requirements, and maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as customer service and sales, to resolve warranty-related inquiries or escalations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of water heater and filtration products, warranty terms and conditions, and industry standards.
- Assist in the development and improvement of warranty processes, including identifying areas for efficiency enhancement and customer satisfaction improvement.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications (EPA Universal and NATE).
- Proven experience as a technician in the HVAC Industry.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with warranty claims processes and procedures is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using computer software and applications for documentation and communication purposes.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Warranty Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide technical support and assistance related to HVAC systems installed by Service Champions. The HVAC Warranty Tech will be responsible for diagnosing issues, coordinating repairs or replacements, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of Lennox HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
