  Job Description:

  The HVAC/R Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair up to 40 RaceTrac convenience stores in a designated region. This individual is responsible for maintaining Building HVAC, Refrigeration Walk-Ins and reach ins and sealed system repairs on Yogurt Machines, Ice Makers, and Frozen Carbonated Beverage Units. The HVAC/R Technician is also responsible for reporting any maintenance or repair needs found at the location via Service Channel and to their Regional Service Manager.

  Responsibilities:

  Resolves maintenance and service issues at the RaceTrac Store Support Center to ensure full operability with all SSC equipment Ensures each job is performed at a high level of skill and with optimal customer service. Provides project support to cross-functional departments in various initiatives related to the SSC. Responds to additional ad hoc maintenance requests communicated from each department as needed.Has the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to repeatedly bend, stand and reach while on the job, with no or infrequent breaks.Conducts routine inspection of facilities to identify and repair deficiencies.Conducts routine audits of all 3rd party services.Manages and prioritizes work order requests.

  Qualifications:

  • HVAC, HVAC/R skillset desired
  • Universal EPA Certification required.
  • Ability to work from 6am through 7pm
  • Good driving record
  • 2+ years work experience preferred.
  • Minimum 1+ year experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field.
  • Ability to read commercial wiring schematics
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
  • Ability to use power tools and hand tools
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and outside conditions.
  • Ability to use ladders safely.
