- Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in clinical education, required. 4 years experience, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: RN, preferred.
- Additional Skills Required: Must be able to provide education in 12 lead ECG, CPR, chest pain and ACS symptom recognition and treatment. Mastery level knowledge of the ACC/AHA Guidelines for the Management of ST-Elevation MI, general knowledge of the referral system of the tertiary hubs and key influencers at the spoke hospitals. Data collection experience, outcomes research experience optimal. Current and future trends/practice in cardiology; practice and physician profiling; regulatory and governing standards, policies and procedures; information systems and software used in cardiology; computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Web; equipment used in performing assigned duties; application of safety and infection control policies and procedures; teambuilding, conflict management, and interpersonal relationship skills; principles of adult learning and teaching methods/models; decision making, project leadership and consultation, delegation and communication skills; understanding of customer needs and expectations and knowledge for improvement to exceed customer expectations. Must possess clear and professional telephone voice. Good manual dexterity required. Must be able to communicate orally and with written/printed reports. Must be able to use typical office machines (phone, fax, copier, keyboard, etc). Must be able to read printer screens and printed materials.

Overview
Provides leadership in achieving ongoing quality, productivity and efficiency in the region/market. Responsible for developing and fostering long term relationships with physicians, hospital presidents, Heart and Vascular Institute (HVI) leadership, emergency medical services, emergency department administration and their staff in their surrounding communities. Provides a personal communication link to the vast outpatient and inpatient resources, new technologies, and physicians that HVI has to offer. Meets regularly to ensure that they are up to date on these services relevant to their medical practice and patient population.
