      The Single Family Housing Office uses available funding to deliver programs & resources that expand access to homeownership opportunities for first-time homebuyers & low- to moderate-income households throughout Ohio. The Office also promotes & fosters the sustainability of homeownership through programs & resources within & outside OHFA.

      What You'll Do:

      OHFA is looking for dedicated individuals to fill two (2) Housing Grant Analyst 2 positions who will:

      • Review & score Single-family Tax Credit program applications
      • Work with representatives of awarded projects through the life of the project to make sure program requirements are met
      • Provide program information to the public, through conversations, email & trainings
      • Partner with the program manager to update program policies, procedures & documents, as necessary.

      Travel

      Travel is not typical of these positions, but limited opportunities to attend trainings, conferences, or events may be provided & must be approved in advance by management.

      Hybrid Work

      Employees in these positions are eligible for OHFA's Teleworking Policy. Currently, employees participating in teleworking are required to come into OHFA's offices two (2) days a week & may work from an alternative work location three (3) days per week. OHFA's offices are located at 2600 Corporate Exchange Drive, Columbus, OH 43231.

      To be offered the opportunity to interview, applicants must clearly demonstrate on their application how they meet the following minimum qualifications:

      • 36 months training or 36 months experience in performing financial underwriting of multifamily housing loans or bonds & must be able to provide own transportation.
      • OR completion of undergraduate core program in business administration/public administration, urban planning or political science; AND 4 courses or 12 months experience performing in financial underwriting of multifamily housing loans or bonds & must be able to provide own transportation.
      • OR equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

      To be successful in the position, candidates must possess:

      • Knowledge of housing &/or homeless grant programs & regulations; public relations*; computer programs*; business administration/public administration or urban planning; real estate programs; employee training & development*.
      • Skill in operation of computer; operation of copier*, operation of calculator*.
      • Ability to review housing &/or homeless applications with accuracy & completeness; prepare technical reports, computer spreadsheets & make recommendations on findings; handle technical & sensitive inquiries from community agencies, government officials & general public; cooperate with co-workers on group assignments.
