      PIRTEK, the nation’s leading provider for on-site hydraulic and industrial hose replacement is hiring for the position of Mobile Sales and Service Technician (MSST) which is essentially a Hydraulic Hose Field Service Technician.

      Job Description:
      PIRTEK is looking to hire an MSST with expertise in hydraulic/industrial hose installation and the ability to diagnose hydraulic problems, service, assemble, and install hoses for a diverse customer base such as manufacturing, construction, and rental companies. If you are mechanically inclined, enjoy meeting and working with customers, PIRTEK could be an excellent career path.

      As a PIRTEK MSST, you will be operating out of a PIRTEK Service & Supply Center in a purpose-built van and carry out service calls in the local area. You will be fully trained to operate a purpose-built PIRTEK service van fitted with specialized equipment designed to fabricate flexible hose assemblies on site.

      Responsibilities:
      · Diagnose and solve hydraulic problems
      · Remove, identify, fabricate, and install hydraulic and industrial hoses
      · Start and test equipment
      · Evaluate the condition of equipment and recognize any other potential hose failure
      · Check and fill hydraulic oil, where required
      · Maintain clean, well-running work vehicle, inventory, and tools
      · Develop relationships and demonstrate excellent communication skills with customers as well as with internal team members
      · Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues on site when possible
      · Perform all work safely and with high quality
      · Provide after hour “on-call” assistance, Rotation every 3rd to 4th week
      · Generate new business through sales calls and provide records of such
      · May assist in training of new employees
      · Performs other related duties as assigned

      Qualifications:
      * Must have own tools or the ability to obtain tools prior to van assignment, which is immediately following initial training.
      · Mechanically inclined with heavy equipment or like experience
      · Successful technicians are upbeat with a positive attitude and are self-motivators
      · Experience as mechanic, or medium-level mechanical skills
      · Troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude is crucial
      · Attention to detail under pressure
      · Ability to excel in fast paced work environment
      · Work outdoors under varying conditions: hot, cold, rain, dirt, mud, noise, bad smells, heights, etc.
      · Ability to safely work with tools in confined spaces, on the ground, inside and around heavy equipment and machinery, etc.
      · Must have pride in workmanship
      · Always strive for excellence in safety, quality, and proficiency
      · Exceptional Communication Skills
      · High School Diploma or GED
      · Clean Driving Record
      · Criminal Background Check
