Job Description
- Req#: R0006363
- Deliver detailed designs of hydraulic components and assemblies, as directed by the Head of Hydraulic Design
- Produce and issue engineering drawings to Design Office standards
- Monitor progress of these designs through their life, making proactive input as required, to ensure reliability and optimal performance of the relevant components
- Work with Manufacturing, R&D and Assembly groups to identify, diagnose and resolve any hydraulic issues seen on track in a thorough and timely manner
- Assist the Transmission Design group when requested
- Have an engineering qualification or relevant practical experience
- Experience of hydraulic component design and installation
- Good engineering background and knowledge
- Have experience using 3D CAD (Siemens NX is desirable but training available)
