      What you can expect to do here:


      • Various fieldwork duties to include drill rig supervision, soil and rock core logging, monitoring well installation, collection of water level data, various aquifer testing methods including pumping tests, sampling of soil, groundwater and surface water;
      • Preparing and coordinating subcontractors and equipment for field programs;
      • Filing and managing all project-related field notes and data;
      • Analysis of field data, production of tables, figures, and writing of portions of reports;
      • Performing and recording work tasks as requested efficiently and accurately while adhering to current industry standards and regulatory requirements;
      • D emonstrating a “Safety-First” focus and acting as a role model to other staff.

      What you’ll bring to WSP :

      • Minimum qualification of a College Diploma for Environmental Technician / Technologist or related discipline;
      • One to two years of relevant work experience is preferred;
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and critical thinking skills with particular attention to detail and accuracy of field notes;
      • Enthusiastic, versatile, and willing to take on responsibility;
      • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic;
      • A valid driver’s license;
      • Willing to work outdoors and travel to project sites using own vehicle; and
      • Strong awareness of health and safety issues and a safety conscious attitude.
