      About the Israeli-American Council:

      The mission of the IAC is to build an engaged and united Israeli-American community that strengthens: the Israeli and Jewish identity of our next generations, the American Jewish community and the bond between the peoples of the United States and the State of Israel.

      IAC Eitanim is an immersive entrepreneurship project-based program for teens (13-17).

      The program challenges teens to explore their identity and their out-of-the-box thinking by letting them grapple and innovate real-world problems. Participants connect to modern Israel through projects & research while working with industry leaders & mentors from their community.

      Job Purpose:

      The IAC is seeking for an IAC Eitanim Facilitator that will lead the Eitanim sessions throughout the program. Responsibilities include registering participants, organizing a pre-program info session, planning logistics for the sessions, running skill simulations, engaging with teens throughout the program, including WhatsApp group communications & meetings outside the designated sessions, as well as connecting with parents & mentors around each session. The IAC Eitanim facilitator will report to the Regional Director of Remote Communities.

      Duties include and are not limited to:

      • Lead content delivery, implementation, and maintain high quality of the Eitanim programs sessions, and Eitanim related \ led community events.
      • Prepare and facilitate all program’s sessions including keeping attendance records & post-session summaries.
      • Assist in coordinating with guest experts, company tours and mentors and their preparations.
      • Send follow-up tasks to the group and maintain consistent communications with the teen teams under your care.
      • Submit session reviews and feedback to Eitanim National Director
      • Must participate in all IAC Eitanim National events and staff training including and not limited to training at beginning of the year, national facilitator’s forum meetings and ongoing training National Hackathon + IAC National Summit Eitanim Track).
      • Work closely with the national Eitanim team, to insure the successful execution of the program.
      • Represent the IAC in a professional manner.

      Skills/Qualifications:

      • Knowledge in the Project Based Learning Methods.
      • Understanding of the startup world and ecosystem.
      • Creative, Energetic and Proactive.
      • Experience working with teens.
      • Experience working with startup a plus.
      • Deep understanding of Israel & Social Impact
      • Strong connection to both Israeli and American identities
      • Strong social and interpersonal skills
      • Flexible hours - work in the evenings (2-3 evening every week) and weekends as needed for an IAC Eitanim meeting, regional activity, and seminars.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite products and social networking tools.
      • Highly efficient and organized.
      • Good operational & administrative management.
      • Strong proficiency in Hebrew and English (Speaking, reading, writing).
