      Northrop Grumman is seeking an IBCS Technical Trainer to join our team of qualified, diverse professionals located in Huntsville, AL. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) Program. IBCS provides Command/Control and Integrated Fire Control capabilities for a distributed Air and Missile Defense Enterprise. The primary responsibilities involve support to the IBCS Software Agile Release Team to increase tactical and strategic capabilities, identify soldier requirements, and improve the warfighter effectiveness in the use of IBCS SW. Ability to travel required.

      Duties and Responsibilities:

      · Supports continued development of IBCS concept of employment

      · Demonstrates specialized expertise in planning and developing coursework for partner nations

      · Participates in doctrinal development, embedded training scenario development, practical exercise development, test question development and after-action review and analysis

      · Facilitates customer visits in support of capability and interoperability exercises

      · Performs lab demonstrations for internal and external operational planning teams

      · Participation in the development of Key Player, Senior Leader, or Staff Planner training

      · Required to travel up to 25%

      Basic Qualifications:

      · Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of professional and/or military experience

      · Ability to provide consulting expertise to military customer/user in the development and evaluation of military training and doctrine

      · Experience developing and employing defense designs

      · Experience working with embedded training systems

      · Demonstrated experience with Link 16

      · Patriot Master Gunner

      Preferred Qualifications:

      · Military Veteran with service as an Air Defense Artillery (ADA) Non-Commissioned, Warrant, or Commissioned Officer

      · Expert level understanding of course development and lifecycle management for Integrated Air and Missile Defense systems

      · Certified ADAFCO

      · Patriot Top Gun graduate

      · Experience in the operational planning at the AAMDC level

      · Deployment experience operating/maintaining ADA systems

      Salary Range: $118,200.00 - $177,400.00

      The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

      Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
