- Design and develop software solutions using IBM Aspera technology to facilitate high-speed data transfer and management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and implement solutions that meet client needs.
- Develop custom applications, plugins, and integrations to extend the functionality of IBM Aspera products and address specific client requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to identify and resolve issues, ensuring high quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity and technical expertise.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in IBM Aspera technology and incorporate new features and enhancements into software solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams on Aspera integration, customization, and troubleshooting.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on networked applications and data transfer technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, UDP, routing, and firewalls.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of data transfer protocols such as FTP, SFTP, HTTP, and Aspera FASP is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
