Job Description

- Drive the strategy behind access and role base security, induction identity-based policies, resource-based policies, permissions boundaries, Service Control Policies (SCPS), etc., working with the business and operations team to understand detailed row and column level access requirements for a variety of analytical and operational purposes
- Create a cohesive approach to access strategy for the Cloud including: IGA (Identity Governance and Administration), Metadata-driven Dynamic Access rules, Self-serve permissions and the full permissions lifecycle
- Hands-on management of the product including defining epics, business requirements elaboration, systems and process flow analysis, meeting critical milestones and deliverables that are time boxed
- Develop deep understanding of how our products, services, and solutions work to generate new ideas and opportunities for innovation and improvement, including panning and executing programs to train users, manage change, increase product adoption, and improve user engagement
- Provide technical leadership for vision, architecture and design of the access management strategy with significant individual contributions to work, as well as, collaboration with architects and leads from different platforms to implement the solutions
- Drive change in a complex and heavily collaborative environment, articulating the current landscape and vision for the future landscape for both engineering and senior business audiences
- Build and maintain an IAM program with an overall view towards the access landscape, both internal and external to the Firm, while managing the implementation of IAM product solutions that enforce applicable organization security policies and access management requirements.
- 10+ years of industry experience
- 5+ years of Identity and Access Management Experience
- In depth understanding of the field of Identity and Access Management, particularly for the public cloud, AWS, Snowflake, and other technologies
- Strong understanding of authentication protocols, such as SAML, OAuth, and Kerberos.
- Influencer with great interpersonal skills that will allow you to execute and achieve alignment across a matrixed environment with a wide range of different views, job functions, and levels while displaying a sense of ownership
- Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines, and ensure our organization is on track to execute and deliver strategic change that meets our goals.
- Technical abilities to relate to and guide technical users including software engineers, data engineers, ETL specialists and others as they use pipelines, APIs, and manage their data journey
- Master’s degree and/or Computer Science degree and background
- Experience with permission stores like AWS IAM, LDAP, Apache Ranger, MySQL, or Himeji
- Experience in strategic or transformational change and technical knowledge of data management and governance, big data platforms, or data architecture
- Strong knowledge of consumer financial services
