In this developer role, you will provide hands-on development, design and technical solutions, primarily based on IBM Integration Bus (IIB) technology.

In your first few weeks in this IIB/MQ Developer role, you can expect to:

· Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, testers, and other developers to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality payment systems

· Investigate and resolve technical issues related to SWIFT payment systems, offering timely support and ensuring the uninterrupted flow of payment transactions

· Maintain comprehensive documentation of payment systems and configurations, scripts, and integration processes to ensure knowledge sharing and future reference

· Proactively identify opportunities for process optimisation, performance enhancement, and automation within the Swift payment landscape.

To apply for this IIB/MQ developer role, you will need knowledge of messaging-based applications and middleware, preferably with financial messaging (SWIFT, ISO20022) know-how and hands-on experience in the field. You will also require the following:

· Good hands-on experience as a Systems Engineer in MQ and IBM Integration Bus(IIB)

· Knowledge of Java, Microservice Design patterns, Kafka Streaming, Systems Monitoring Concepts

· Knowledge of Sanctions Screening products and Data Transformation technologies

· Experience leading meetings and communicating with vendors and other stakeholders.
