What you will be doing

You will be heading a team of two Strategy and Communication Specialists and will report to the VP IIT Western Europe. Your main stakeholder will be the Global CIO and you will be working closely with her and the leadership team on shaping Carlsberg’s long-term technology strategy.

Your team’s main priorities will be to build the framework and strategy for the ongoing technology enablement of Carlsberg’s Sail ’27 strategy and ensure the subsequent strategy execution and performance management in IIT.

This role will have broad exposure to senior stakeholders across the entire Carlsberg organization, so effective stakeholder management and influencing skills at all levels of an organization are key.

Specific tasks would be:

• Supporting the global CIO and her leadership team to develop further and communicate the technology vision and strategy that aligns with Carlsberg’s overall business goals
• Ensure alignment of technology priorities across regions and functions into one consolidated strategy and technology roadmap
• Build business cases for large technology and data programs to be presented to our Executive Committee
• Facilitate strategy execution and performance management in IIT.

What we’re looking for

You might be an experienced IT Strategy Director or management consultant who has extensive experience developing IT and Digital strategy in large, global organizations.

We are looking for an engaging leader that has:

• A proven history of defining, developing, and implementing technology strategies
• Advanced communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Extensive knowledge of current and emerging technologies and industry best practices
• Experience managing multiple global projects at the same time
• High business understanding with the ability to align IT initiatives with organizational goals
• Comprehensive analytical and problem-solving skills.
