Overview

Will prerform anyone of the following jobs: IM1 Caseline, IM1 Molding Floater Non Inc, IM2 Molding Floater, IM2 Cover Assembly, IM2 Molding Floater Non-Inc, SMA Manual Heat Seal, and SMA Coater

Responsibilities

CASELINE:Visually inspects and sorts battery cases.Trims cases with a utility knife and/or scraper.Places wedges and handles into cases.Cleans cases.Stacks cases on skids at the end of the conveyorMaintains a clean workstation.Responsible for completing paperwork.MOLDING FLOATER NON-INC:Empties product from automatic molding machines.Visually inspects, sorts and packages plastic parts.May be cross trained as a Material Handler.MOLDING FLOATER:May fill in for a lead inserter if an indvidual goes to break or to lunch.Load lead terminals to robot control presses.MANUAL HEAT SEAL:FRIT WELDER:(Automatic and Manual)Operates machine that welds arresters into battery cover manifolds using an ultra sonic welder and tests the manifolds.HEAT SEAL:Operates a machine that heat seals manifold to cover.Runs tests on the covers.AUTOMATIC COVER ASSEMBLER:Places tape on cover or manifold.Inserts cover or manifold in a mahine that transfers color from tape to the cover or manifold.The cover is then taken off the machine.Packages product in boxes or gaylord.Loads covers and manifolds, monitors automatic assembly machine to assure quality partsCOATER:Places terminals on spindles at a fast pace.Audits terminals that move through a machine where the terminals are coated with a protective glue.Places the properly coated terminals in a box.Labels the boxes accordingly.*Maintains regular attendance.*Ability to work mandatory over time.Performs other duties as requested by Management.Responsible for producing a high quality product.Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.Equal Opportunity Employer/VEVRAA.*These tasks are considered essential elements of the job.
