- Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Fall 2025 semester (09/02/2025 - 12/14/2025)
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies.
- Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends.
- Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path.
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
- Minimum: Bachelors in Advertising or Bachelors in Graphic Design or Bachelors in Visual Communication or related area.
- Preferred: Masters in Advertising or Masters in Graphic Design or Masters in Visual Communication or related area.
- All instructors must have 3-5 years experience in the industry AND
- Experience with photo manipulation or vector and pixel based imagery or hand illustration techniques AND
- Knowledge of current design & production software or design principles and production methods.

Course: Image Creation
Students learn methods of image creation, including vectors, typographic, and pixel-based imagery manipulation, for the purposes of aligning image production with advertising campaign strategy. Emphasis is placed on selection of appropriate imagery through analysis of audience needs, historical representation of ideas, stereotypes, and cultural iconography.
