  Join our dynamic team and help drive excellence in patient care, staff coordination, and imaging services. We are seeking a motivated Supervisor – Radiology & Imaging to lead daily operations, ensure quality imaging practices, and uphold our commitment to outstanding service and compliance

  As Supervisor, you will:

  Lead & Support the Imaging Team

  • Oversee daily departmental operations and workflow

  • Supervise, schedule, and evaluate staff performance

  • Manage time-off requests and maintain shift coverage

  • Facilitate staff meetings and communication initiatives

  Coordinate Imaging Operations

  • Resolve service delivery issues and patient care concerns

  • Enforce compliance with all policies and safety protocols

  • Support cross-training and licensure adherence

  • Collaborate with other departments and administrative leadership

  Provide Technical and Clinical Expertise

  • Act as a preceptor and mentor for new and existing staff

  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in scheduling, imaging, and documentation

  • Maintain Superuser knowledge of PACS and imaging software systems

  • Serve as a clinical resource for complex imaging scenarios

  ?? Perform Diagnostic Imaging Procedures

  • Operate imaging equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images

  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures

  • Prepare and position patients appropriately

  • Administer contrast media as permitted and required

  Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field preferred

  Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of clinical imaging experience required

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience a strong plus

  Licensure & Certifications:

  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

  • Valid Louisiana State License to practice as a Radiographer

  • CPR certification required

  Knowledge & Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of JCAHO, ACR, CMS, DEQ, MQSA, and other regulatory standards

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Technically skilled in radiographic imaging and patient safety protocols
