  Hiring for Warehouse

  Job Description

  The role involves managing the organization and distribution of merchandise within a warehouse setting. You will be responsible for generating manifests, interpreting warehouse documents, and ensuring that merchandise is correctly sorted and placed. The position requires relocating merchandise to designated areas, verifying documentation, and preparing products for distribution.

  Responsibilities

  • Generate a manifest to dispatch and confirm customer and/or stock orders.
  • Interpret various warehouse documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Open cartons, sort merchandise, and relocate merchandise from receiving or production areas to other designated areas.
  • Verify merchandise documentation and record incoming merchandise by part and quantity.
  • Organize and place merchandise on racks, shelves, totes, or bins according to a predetermined sequence.
  • Prepare products for distribution within facilities.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on palettes, shelves, or conveyors to send to packing station or shipping department.
  • Receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products within established guidelines under direct supervision.
  • Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
  • Create and enter records for the manifest on warehouse computer system.

  Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in using warehouse systems, including RF scanners.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 0-6 months of warehouse experience preferred.
  • No certification required, but will certify on CROWN trucks upon permanent hire.

  Work Environment

  The work takes place in a fast-paced warehouse with narrow aisles where forklifts and hand carts navigate safely. It is a non-climate-controlled environment, and closed-toe shoes are required. Please note that cellphones or electronics are not permitted in the warehouse to ensure safety and focus.

  Job Type & Location

  This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, Texas.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
