- Join a team passionate about producing superior and authentic products through a perfected cold-brew extraction process. As a CIP Food Safety Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest food safety standards and maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of production equipment in wet processing areas.
- Operate CIP systems on all wet processing equipment following proper procedures.
- Collaborate with quality and production management to address changing priorities.
- Ensure compliance with SQF/HACCP standards, including maintaining all necessary documentation.
- Work closely with the QA department for sampling and testing, troubleshooting issues with unacceptable results.
- Focus on sanitation and CIP processes, including daily titrations and paperwork aligned with documentation.
- Conduct food safety and sanitary quality inspections and communicate results effectively.
- Perform general food safety and sanitation duties throughout the facility to prevent contamination.
- 2+ years of experience working within a GMP setting.
- 1+ years of experience in Food Safety and CIP.
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with all departments.
- Experience with GMP, Quality Assurance, and Food Safety.
- Knowledge in sanitation, quality control, FDA regulations, and food production processes.
- Familiarity with equipment such as blenders, mixers, and batch mixers.
- Ability to conduct quality tests including pH and HACCP.
- The work environment is a FDA-regulated production facility. Personal protective equipment (PPE) includes hair nets, beard nets, long pants, and lab coats, with specific attire like hard hats required in extraction areas. While the facility is temperature controlled in some parts, wearing a lab coat can increase warmth. The environment is typical of a production setting without the 'spotless' feel, yet it remains a welcoming and dynamic workspace.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
