What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage U.S. non-immigrant and immigrant visa filings, including processes such as H-1B, TN, L-1, and green card applications
- Serve as the primary contact for HR partners and employees regarding immigration matters
- Collaborate with external law firms to address immigration-related queries and ensure a seamless experience
- Assist in developing and maintaining immigration policy documentation and provide resources in a self-service format
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate immigration status reporting for compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- At least 5 years of human resources or immigration experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 3 years of experience, or a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with experience handling sensitive matters
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- High-volume U.S. employment-based immigration experience within the manufacturing industry
- In-depth knowledge of various visa processes and experience providing consultation on immigration applications
- Experience exercising independent judgment while utilizing company policies
- Ability to interface effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Experience working in both remote and onsite environments
