  A Day in the life of the Implementation Consultant:

  • Actively participate throughout the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure as part of an international implementation team:

  o Design Workshops and Requirement gathering
  o Implementation & Configuration
  o Testing & Documentation
  o End-user training
  o Deployment & Handover
  o Post-production support

  • Contribute to 100% customer satisfaction by providing expertise, technical advice & best practices; Provide expertise and consultancy in the area of Pricing and CPQ

  • Utilize advanced skills and out of the box thinking to solve problems in a complex environment

  • Contribute to best practices and knowledge base (training materials, design templates, implementation packages, etc.)

  • Work alongside multiple disciplines within PROS, such as business development, product management and product development

  Required Qualifications – About you:

  We are looking for candidates who possess the rare combination of the following achievements, skills and behaviors:

  • Previous consulting experience

  • 1-2 years of experience configuring or doing Business Analysis on solutions on large-scale pricing, CRM (Salesforce, MS Dynamics), CPQ or ERP implementations

  • In-depth knowledge in at least one of the following areas:

    • SQL/PL-SQL/T-SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server);

    • Web development (e.g. CSS/HTML/JavaScript);

    • Any programming language e.g. Java, C++/C#, Python, etc.

  • Exposure to webservices/interfaces (REST, SOAP); knowledge of XML, JSON

  • Basic command of SQL (CRUD operations)

  • Scripting language/algorithm experience

  • Strong aptitude for analytical concepts, demonstrated leadership ability, strong verbal and electronic communication skills

  • Strong customer focus, excellent teamwork abilities, integrity, and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor and to offer exemplary customer service

  • Time management skills are a must, as well as the ability to be flexible and creative

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Good listening skills and good teaching skills

  • Excellent business and day to day usage of English is vital (written and spoken)

  • Previous SaaS or Cloud based Software Experience is a plus

  • Any industry experience is a plus (Manufacturing, Distribution, Rental, Insurance, Transportation and Logistics, Oil and Gas, Chemical, etc.)

  • Experience with project management tools is a plus

  • German and/or French is an advantage

  • General or computer engineering degree

  • Up to 10% travel required throughout EMEA
