- Follow internal QA processes to ensure the high-quality print of the final project prior to sending final files to production.
- Daily communication & collaboration with Planning/Scheduling & the Account teams to prioritize Workfront & Print flow schedules for final production.
- Prepress and specification sheet verification of file composition (dimensions, color, mechanical & template) and or planning imposition layouts before sending files for final production.
- Identify job specification discrepancies between supplied files and production tickets to minimize risk of errors.
- Adhere to established company security policies and asset management protocol.
- Work with account team to troubleshoot and problem solve file issues.
- Perform various upload & download tasks.
- Ensure all files names, subs, job descriptions, device proof location and approved color, content & comps are identified or present via job server of Esko notes before sending into final production.
- Executing jobs via Esko workflow
- Maintain organizational structure of the template library, not limited but including posting company specification sheets.
- Continuous training on internal systems and applications to stay relevant to industry standards or higher.
- Performs additional duties as required.
- Minimum 2 years profession prepress experience
- Understanding of the graphics arts industry as it applies to pre-media, offset litho, large format digital printing, retail & theatrical display and new technologies
- Good verbal and e-mail communication skills
- Must have working knowledge of Creative Adobe Suite, Color Management and Esko
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency in any language (including ASL) preferred
- Self-starter and innovative thinker
- Sitting for long periods of time

Midnight Oil (moagency.com) , strategically located in "the heart of Hollywood" in Burbank, CA, is an extraordinary creative, and specialty print production partner to the majority of theatrical and streaming studios, with relationships often measured in terms of decades, not years. We uniquely and conveniently combine our Studio and Print Production capabilities all under one roof in our 120,000 square feet facility, with an Amtrak stop and the Burbank Airport directly across the street. Position Summary: The Imposition Operator Planning Specialist is responsible for preparing art files for production both internal and external.
Location and Schedule: This position is on-site working out of our Burbank, CA office. This is a Full-time Second Shift Monday-Friday schedule between the hours of 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM.

The national pay range for this role is $26.00-$31.00/hour. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission, or incentive program.
