      About the role

      The In Room Dining Server serves guest in-room, maintaining exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items and preparation methods, and delivers amenities and special requests in a timely manner.

      What you will do

      • Deliver food orders including any special needs or requests to the guest in-room, check completed kitchen orders with the order taker.

      • Greet guests, describe selected items to the guest using interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate options for removal of trays and dishware; respond to request for tray removal according to established time standards.

      • Breakdown, clean and set-up of room service tables, condiment set-ups, flatware, dishware, and room service side stations.

      • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.

      What you bring

      • At least 1 year of in-room dining service experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.

      • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.

      • Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

      • Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of Opera and Micros POS preferred/is a plus.

      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.

      • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 30 lbs.

      • Part-time

      • This position requires the flexibility to work a diverse schedule encompassing days, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays

      Miscellaneous:
