Create, record, and share with students learning goals and interventions that address the needs of each learner receiving intervention services.

Participate in curriculum review and design with teachers.

Organize and facilitate targeted interventions with fidelity to increase student achievement.

Progress monitor student growth and adjust instruction accordingly.

Communicate with families and teachers about data points from regularly and frequently administered measurements.

Coordinate and be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities (ADA) Act, 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, as it pertains to persons with disabilities.

Facilitate the Response to Intervention process.
- Abide by state statutes, school board policies, and regulations.
- Attend meetings and perform duties as assigned by administrators or supervisors.
- Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.
- Serve on committees as assigned.
- Remain current on instructional practices in education.

PHYSICAL DEMAND/REQUIREMENTS:
Duties are typically performed in school settings. Must be able to respond to the unique educational, behavioral, and developmental needs of students. This will include de-escalation support. The job may emphasize intervention with and management of aggressive and self-abusive students. Daily personal and close contact with children to provide classroom management and learning environment support is required. Regular contact with other staff members and parents is required. Regular contact with related service providers is required. Occasional contact with medical professionals may be required. Frequent contact with parents by phone and in person if necessary. Frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must also frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.-
