'); 'Bishop Woods School (K - 8) Additional Information: Show/Hide - Provide academic instruction appropriate for grade level of each assigned student.
- Counsel individual students to follow up on the infraction.
- Maintain contact with faculty responsible for students’ academic core classes.
- Maintain discipline and a working environment in the In-House Suspension room.
- Follow up on students who have serve penalty period.
- Create a program environment that is firm, yet supportive.
- Utilize school resource as a means to student improvement, e.g. Body Shop.
IN-SCHOOL SUSPENSION WORKER
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience working with middle and high school students. Ability to relate to young adults; excellent interpersonal communication and organization skills.
JOB GOAL:
To change student’ attitudes and behaviors that lead to exclusion from classes to such an extent that students will not need to be referred to the in-house suspension program.

Principal
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Established by Board of Education
SALARY:
Local 884, Rage 14, Step 1
10 month position, salary: $48,241.66
EVALUATION:
Performance evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board of Education’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
