What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate the completion of inclusion support plans for participants in various programs
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding program plans and expectations
- Utilize creative problem-solving skills to develop and adapt visual support tools
- Manage documentation and maintain organization within G-Suite applications
- Travel to program sites as needed to support participants and staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1-2 years of experience working directly with participants with disabilities in an inclusive setting
- Strong organizational skills to manage documents and projects using G Suite applications
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of participant and staff information
- Experience working with diverse communities and individuals
- Reliable transportation for travel to various program locations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (special education, rehabilitation psychology, social work, etc.)
- Experience in school, camp, or childcare environments
- Ability to read and interpret IEPs and other special education documents
- Experience in delegating tasks and monitoring project statuses
- Understanding of reasonable accommodations and support strategies through the ADA
