INFORMATION ABOUT THE BUSINESS Aon Captive & Insurance Management (ACIM) team is involved in Financial Reporting and Commercial Insurance business, Operations & Risk, Internal Finance & Life Actuarial Support. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE: Incumbent would be responsible for end-to-end completion of internal audit assignments with high quality output and internal audit frameworks such as COSO, IIA’s IPPF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 3- 5 yrs of experience in experience in Internal Audit, Transactional Audit, Process Audit, Internal Controls Testing etc. Audit KPIs - Be a key contributor and enabler for success of Internal Audit function. Ensure comprehensive closure of audit findings with all relevant stakeholders, based on actions recommended. Drive Innovative methods and techniques in audit to derive higher assurance, lean audits, higher coverage. Must be able to work, at times on multiple assignments simultaneously Excellent report writing and presentation skills, with an analytical mind and problem-solving ability. Experience in service delivery, team handling, work with all levels of staff and supervision of team members. Good analytical and communication skills Stay abreast of leading practices in fraud and internal audit. Drive Complex Process Audit, Transactional Audit of Insurance clients Develop an in-depth understanding of processes/functions, summarize findings, and identify improvements. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure remediation actions are effective and timely SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: General Accounting Knowledge of Insurance Industry Independently analyze the source documents for Audit purpose Analysis of Investment Reports and accounting for the transactions Analysis and accounting of Forex transactions General Accounting Knowledge Insurance and Forex Accounting Analysis of financial statements General Accounting Applications Knowledge Very good knowledge in MS Excel and Word applications Knowledge of data analytics, Power BI & Auditing tool is an advantage Small to large project teams and extensive interaction with internal and/or external clients.
