- Demonstrate a solid understanding of legal terminology and draft and/or revise a variety of contracts with vendors
- Ensure the organization's internal contract documents are accurate and well maintained; inform business and legal team when to take actions
- Provide advice and guidance to the different teams relating to contract drafting. Also keep a track record of contracts in progress & completed
- Competency in integrated supply chain management software, like Microsoft Dynamics, Coupa, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of supply chain, procurement, logistics and payment process.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes
- Resolving day-to-day supply chain issues and promoting operational consistency.
- Vendor Management - Manage "tactical" vendors regarding onboarding, offboarding, performance, and contract compliance
- Support the development of vendor performance scorecards in partnership with functional, business and analytics teams
- Support the development and facilitation of presentation materials that are clear and effective to clearly communicate engagement objectives and expectations to vendors and cross-functional stakeholders
- Partner with internal teams as needed (Plan, Execute and support) to ensure requirements and quality standards are met for sourcing efforts in assigned areas
- Partner with key internal resources to ensure an effective negotiating strategy is set and aligned to business requirements to obtain the best overall value based on performance
- Support the development of category strategies and approaches that are aligned to business plans and responsible for the execution of those strategies and delivery of savings
- Project manage critical, complex and high value sourcing projects
- Maintain and update the vendor database and key information
- Identify and escalate risks, issues, and other action items of vendors
- Monitor the tracking of deliverables and contractual obligations
- Execute and troubleshoot the full lifecycle for purchase operations from order entry, receipts (as needed), invoicing and ongoing business/vendor support accurately, timely, and in accordance with Lowe's policies and procedures and proper audit trail
- Ensure vendor payments are made accurately, timely and have proper supporting details

About the Team
The Enterprise Strategic Sourcing team has the responsibility to manage sourcing of indirect goods and services for Lowe’s internal consumption in India. The team operates at the core of Lowe’s supply chain strategy, driving value through careful vendor selection, cost optimization, and long-term relationship building. The mission is to identify, evaluate, and secure best vendors who align with Lowe’s needs., values, and strategic objectives. In a competitive environment, the team plays a pivotal role in ensuring that procurement processes are not only cost effective but also agile and sustainable.
Job Summary:
This role is to provide the necessary support to procure indirect materials and services. And also, to ensure timely renewal of contracts. This includes responsibility of sourcing, RPQ/RFPs, negotiation, contracting, creating PO from an approved PR, maintaining list of contacts, repository of contracts, alerts, intimations, vendor registration, stakeholder management, project management, etc. This role is also expected to drive measurable improvement areas within, vendor onboarding, PO processing, contract management, digitalization efforts, on time renewals of contracts, category sourcing and purchasing.
