      What you'll do...

      Job Description Summary:

      Responsible for coding, unit testing, building high performance and scalable applications that meet the needs of millions of Walmart-International customers, in the areas of supply chain management ; Customer experience.

      About Team:

      Our team collaborates with Walmart International, which has over 5,900 retail units operating outside of the United States under 55 banners in 26 countries including Africa, Argentina, Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Japan, and Mexico, to name a few.

      What you'll do:

      • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices
      • Develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions
      • Collaborate with team members to design and implement system architecture that supports business requirements
      • Ensure the design aligns with scalability, performance, and security needs
      • Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency
      • Write unit, integration, and automated tests to maintain software reliability
      • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather requirements and deliver solutions
      • Actively participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
      • Debug and troubleshoot issues in production and development environments
      • Optimize application performance and address technical debt
      • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
      • Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve the development process

      What you'll bring:

      • 6 to 10 years of total experience of which 5+ years in Backend engineering platform development.
      • Proficiency in programming languages Java ; Kotlin
      • Strong understanding of software development principles, algorithms, and data structures.
      • Strong understanding of HLD n LLD
      • Experience with Spring web frameworks and libraries
      • Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and query optimization
      • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP)
      • Hands-on experience with Git version control systems
      • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
      • Understanding of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
      • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
      • Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and serverless frameworks
      • Familiarity with Kafka messaging platform
      • Familiarity with Cassandra, CosmosDB, AzureSql ; BigQuery
      • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark)
